No therapy over the weekend so it was a lazy kind of day. I got there just about the time he was getting ready to be lifted up out of bed into his wheelchair to go to the dining room for lunch. He still doesn't have much of an appetite so going through all this hassle is not something he looks forward to for each meal. I think he would much rather eat in his room but they make you go to the dining room.
Later in the day we went outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and the warm sun beating down on us was heavenly. I took him for a walk through the building and out in the front as he had not seen any of it before. Then it was back to the dining room for dinner. After dinner some friends stopped by which he thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them and then it was back to bed for the rest of the day.
