Day 11 Saturday

What an awesome day! I walked into Leonard's room today and I got greeted by this big warm loving smile that I'm so very fond of. I know he's feeling better. I was actually able to give him some ice chips today and he relished them like it was the best tasting thing he ever ate. His fever is still low grade and we're still dealing with the rash, so he's somewhat squirmy but we can deal with it. Brian brought in a radio so he could listen to his oldies music and when the Suns play he can listen to Al McCoy who he enjoys. He would watch the TV without sound and have the radio with Al. There's a game tomorrow night so I will need to get that set up before I leave for the day. Didn't see any of the doctors today but his nurse said he was doing very well. It was a good day.
